My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

I am a Minneapolis-based Interior Designer who has a strong passion for interior design, architecture and art. I love the world of design and helping people transform their homes into a beautiful reflection of who they are. My design philosophy is to create homes that clients will truly love with an emphasis on clean, beautiful lines that enhance a warm and inviting living arrangement. My interior design business specializes in residential design and I have designed homes in the Los Angeles/Palm Springs area and throughout the Twin Cities. I grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan and graduated from the University of Minnesota. I have lived in London, San Francisco, Sonoma, Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Shortly after college, I moved to California to pursue my dream of working in the entertainment industry and quickly found work on my first film, Faith. My last two projects in LA were on the films, The Metrosexual and Adopt A Sailor both of which I was the Production Designer. I brought my strong sense of design to other entertainment projects including TV commercials and music projects. I also have a strong love of Mid Century Design/Architecture and I travel to Palm Springs often to attend the annual Modernism Show and to enjoy the beautiful Coachella Valley. My passion for design, art and architecture along with my experience in film allows me to offer a unique perspective in the world of design. We hired David to help us with several rooms in our new home. He was fun to work with, found things in our style (not pushing his), and has an exceptional eye for color and overall design. He stayed within our budget and found some unbelievable deals too! He helped make our new house feel like our home. I highly recommend him!

Working with David Borgula was a pleasure. He is an insightful and resourceful interior designer that respects his clients. David Borgula helped us find our style in decor without pushing his own tastes. David’s comfortable and engaged communication skills made my husband and I feel comfortable. His attention to detail, staying within budget and time frame were amazing. He brought quality selections including lighting fixtures, furniture and décor into our home. In addition to our home décor project David Borgula selected the paint color and design of our apartment building which enhanced the exterior appearance of the building. Thank you David for making our house a home we love.

David LISTENED to me. He helped turn my hopeless kitchen and dated dining room into beautiful rooms that I love and that constantly draw compliments. I wanted warm, autumnal colors in a mid-century house, but simply couldn't put things together. He listened to my ideas and guided me with professionalism and a great sense of humor, kept me on budget and was a dream to work with. It was clear that his years of experience, his ability to easily work with contractors and his eye for color and design were fabulous. I've confidently recommended him to all my friends.

David did a FABULOUS job designing my Malibu condo!! He listened to my preferences and delivered the contemporary home of my dreams in the colors of the ocean. Rather than imposing his tastes, he truly respected my desires and used the full force of his talents to create a wonderfully unique home. My sister and son employed David as well. Their homes are more traditional, yet each is outstanding in its' genre thanks to David. He is cost minded as well and keeps to your budget. David is my favorite designer! Eleanor Allen
