The underlying philosophy of our work is that intelligent planning, respect for each client’s needs, and concern for the appropriateness of the design combine to produce the best result. We believe that the design process is participatory and collaborative. From the onset, we confer with each client, to ascertain their functional and aesthetic goals.

Because of this individual approach, Duffy Design Group does not project a particular “style”. Our approach to space is from a modernist perspective in that we strive to enhance the architectural envelope, not overwhelm it. We design our interiors to form a cohesive link to the architecture. Every project has its own signature “look”, relative to the client. Our design solutions are neither imitative nor repetitious.

Attention to detail and follow through in execution is the result of experience and a hands-on attitude by our staff. To insure that our designs are executed as intended, we work closely with the general contractor and subcontractors, workrooms and cabinetry shops. We walk the project through from inception to the last accessory placement.
