Eden Development recently finished building our Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), which now provide comfortable housing for our parents. Before choosing our contractor, my wife and I took the time to thoroughly research many options, meeting with five different contractors. From the beginning, Nico at Eden Development stood out from the rest of the contractors we interviewed. Nico shared an extensive portfolio of his past work and even arranged for us to visit two of his previous clients. He provided us a firsthand look at the quality of his company’s craftsmanship. He didn’t stop there, as he invited us to his own home to view projects he had personally completed. Eventually, this gave us the confidence to move forward with hiring (Nico) Eden Development as our contractor. Throughout the entire process, Nico kept us informed with almost daily updates ensuring clear communication. He efficiently handled the permitting process and dealt with various city departments which was very challenging at times. The project was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. Like many homeowners, we were initially concerned about the possibility of delays and budget over runs. After reviewing five different quotes, we felt that Eden Development’s pricing was fair and within our budget. The quality of work and service we received proved that we had made the right choice. Nico and his crew recently completed a master bathroom and walk in closet for me. Nico took a cramped closet and bathroom area in my 1973 townhouse and turned it into a beautiful spa that I enjoy everyday. This was the first time I had ever hired a contractor and I will forever hire and recommend Nico and his team. I took 3 estimates but it was the gut feeling I got when I met with Nico that made me go with Eden Development. I was so completely impressed by everything that he suggested and designed. He took care of it all. He took the time to listen and made sure I was completely happy with my project before we were finished. My project included 1100 sq ft of new flooring, removed a wall, painting, upgraded molding, electrical, HDMI and a TV mounted. Every step was done perfectly. My favorite part was that I wanted to have this job done while I was on vacation so that I could be home while the workers were in my house yet Nico assured me “that’s why you hire me so you can go to work and I manage the project so that when you’re on vacation it’s all done and you can enjoy your home the whole time”. Well I’m on vacation now, the project is all done and I’m enjoying every inch of my new home!! My second favorite part was everyday during construction, which ended on time, I came home from work, my home was clean and I was never without any working appliances. You get what you pay for and I will always hire Nico and his amazing, professional team incredibly caring team to manage all of my home improvements.

We bought a house a year ago that needed work: wiring, plumbing, flooring, opening up walls, the whole deal. We hired Moti - recommended by friends - to be our contractor and did not regret it for one single moment. He is professional, friendly, comes up with great ideas but lets us take the lead, he is very knowledgable and was in person at the house a lot to supervise and guide. It felt like we were a team, reconstructing the house. Plus: all the numbers he gave us at the start, were actually what the costs were. No extra’s or hidden costs, no going over budget. Moti made the construction a breeze and even fun (we were not living at the place at time of reconstruction :) ) We will need more work done in time and will definitely go with Eden Development again! Wonderful, wonderful people with a warm heart for constructing and for your home!

Moti and his crew did a major remodel of our 1950's ranch-style home; we went from a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom to a 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom with covered patio. We are completely satisfied with the work and are so grateful they were recommended to us by trusted friends. We have since recommended them to others including neighbors and friends, who have also used them. Our project came in on time and within budget. Moti is friendly, trustworthy, responsive and bright, and it was a pleasure to collaborate with him on this project. His crew is equally pleasant, competent and hardworking.

Moti, Pablo, and the whole crew at Eden Development were fantastic to work with. Super professional, meticulous with details and clean up, and completed our job within the estimated timeline. They only use their own trusted guys, no subcontractors, and as a result worked very quickly. They helped us remove an interior wall, replaced floors throughout the house, and remodeled our kitchen. You could tell they sincerely cared about the quality of their work and made the process as easy and painless as possible for us.

Nico and the Eden Development team did an amazing job of our master bathroom remodel. The project included removing walls, lifting the ceiling and installing custom cabinetry and a “wet room” designed shower/tub. Nico was always available and regularly communicated with me via telephone/text/email. I always knew who was showing up the next day, when, and what they were going to be working on. If I had questions, Nico was extremely responsive. The entire team was very professional and cleaned up after the job, every day. Remodels like this can be invasive and messy, but I never felt like my home was out of order and was never uncomfortable or inconvenienced with the work being done. And the results are exactly what I imagined! Nico assisted me with tile/fixture/stone selections and always had valuable recommendations; however, if my taste dictated something else, he was not pushy and valued my opinions. Nico and his team were not only easy to work with, but also perform quality work at a fair price (and we shopped around a lot). I am a perfectionist, but I could not point out one item in the remodel that did not meet or exceed my standards. Furthermore, when the project was reviewed by the city inspectors (as a part of the permit process), every inspector made a comment that the work was some of the best they had seen. My husband and I were so impressed with Eden Development that we have already hired them to complete our full backyard landscaping project (includes installation of pool, retaining walls, BBQ, patio cover, etc.). I know that we will get top quality, fair-priced work with a professional (and fun!) team. From now on, no one but Nico and Eden Development will be doing work on our home! UPDATE: We completed the backyard remodel with Nico and Eden Development and could not be happier! Same experience as with the master bathroom remodel: professional and competent team that made a stressful project so much easier! Nico is absolutely awesome. Don't hire anyone else!!!

Five years ago we purchased our 1915 Craftsman house and since then we had the good fortune of having Eden Development renovate our home to help keep it updated while maintaining its character. The owner (Nico) is very professional, detail oriented and communicates well throughout the entire project. Pricing has always been fair and the finished project has always been outstanding. The entire team is very skilled and professional. Nico and his team have our full trust to the point where we would leave them alone in the house to work while we are away at work. Which is why they have been the only contractors to work on our home. Below are all the projects completed: New sewage system (cast iron to pvc) New copper piping Master bedroom complete remodeling (open ceiling) Installed energy savings windows Master bathroom complete remodeling Electrical rewiring of entire house (3 stories) Recessed lighting throughout house Wall mounting TV (custom layout) There is no job too small or to big for Nico and his team.

We originally hired Eden to do our kitchen countertops and it ended up a complete redo of our kitchen, dining area and living room space. We have a small home so it was important to make everything feel big and spacious. A few months later we called Nico back to redo both our bathrooms and we absolutely love them.

Eden Development performed a complete kitchen and laundry room remodel for us which included knocking out an exterior wall to extend our kitchen by an additional 10 sq. feet. They handled everything for us including planning, design, permits and construction/build. It was a pretty large project and Eden Development made it happen!The owner, Nico prepared a thorough timeline and budget for review and executed it accordingly. In the beginning Nico told us the project would take approximately 2-3 months to complete but it ended up taking close to 4 months. My home was built in 1945. There were a few problems along the way, such as finding out that we needed to replace the entire roof including insulation. There was water damage to the existing roof and beams in the attic and also the entire house needed to be re-wired. Almost 2 months into the construction we decided to have central air and heating installed, LED recessed lighting in the family room, build a custom computer/desk with filing cabinet drawers along with a above wall cabinet, paint the entire house inside and out, replace all gutters and trim around the entire house. We also had solar panels installed on the roof and added outside security lighting. Of course, the budget had to be increased due to the additional upgrades. Sometimes you just find things during the process that are unexpected. We are very happy with our new kitchen and laundry room. Nico and his team did excellent work. Nico worked very hard to keep the project moving and to get it done in the time frame they initially estimated for us. He was very responsive to our requests and had great recommendations and suggestions on how to stay on budget, and he also has a great eye for interior design. By and large everyone was pleasant to work with. During the demolition, a side gate was broken, the sidewalk that runs along the side of the house was cracked and outdoor bricks surrounding a planter was broken. There was discarded wood, shingles and nails left in our front yard by the roofers. When these issues were brought to Nico's attention, he had those things addressed immediately by repairing, replacing and cleaning the yard up immediately. Living in a construction zone for nearly 4 months is never pleasant, but the majority of subcontractors used by Eden Development were very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. Nico takes pride in what he does and it is very apparent. He did a great job of staying on top of the workers and completing the project according to our timeline. Everyone that comes to our home now absolutely loves it. My husband and I have definitely found our contractor that we would work with for any additional remodel or construction project in the future! We are so happy with how beautifully our home turned out.

We used Eden Development for a long variety of projects ranging from inside -- kitchen/pantry/offices/bathrooms -- to outside: a pool and jacuzzi, a small pool house and patio, landscape makeover and a move to solar energy. I can say without hesitation that they have been highly organized, polite, professional, helpful, kind -- often going out of their way to do something nice for us for no reason. All their workers were also kind, gentle, professional and take great pride in a job well done. They all seem to really know their business and have a great deal of experience in knowing how to deliver every possible combination of design aesthetic. They were always quick with a positive suggestion and can-do attitude. They made lots of suggestions, many of which we took and they would always take our own suggestions very seriously and try to figure out the best way to give us what we wanted. They would make suggestions and sometimes give their own opinion and lay out the pros and cons of various choices. But they were never coercive or judgmental and always let us know that is what WE want that is important. They are adept at using computers so we could see exactly what something would look like before we moved ahead. That includes different colors, materials, shapes, lighting, in various combinations. They were very pleasurable and fun to work with. This contrasts with a group who did lots of work for us 25 years ago and were not fun to have around, and the interactions became stressful and unpleasant. G and D Wood, Los Angeles

We hired Eden to renovate our garage and add on a pool house. The job became bigger than we initially thought when the garage roof collapsed, turning the project into a complete rebuild. The results are great. The garage is now a sturdy structure with finished walls and attic storage. The poorhouse is beautiful and well constructed. Nico is easy to work with and cares deeply about the result and that his customers are happy. He makes suggestions and recommendations along the way and is very cost conscious, respectful and responsive. I highly recommend Eden.

New to LA, I purchased a 70 year old valley fixer upper. My next step was to find a contractor to help me turn it into my dream home. I interviewed 10 GC's and settled on Eden because of their easy going attitude, promptness, competitive pricing and straight forward analysis of my project. I have not been disappointed. They rewired, re-plumbed, created an open concept entertainment area, remodeled 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and updated all aspects of the home. It was like being on HGTV. Moti, my GC, was on the job every day, coordinating the work, overseeing each tradesman and communicating almost daily on progress and next steps. Workmen showed up every day until the job was finished; a miracle in this business! Eden has all of their own employees which they have already vetted and know will do the job right. Everyone who worked on my job was friendly, and open to answering my millions of questions. They also kept the work site tidy - sweeping, removing trash at the end of each work day. During the renovation both the HVAC system AND the water heater died! Moti stepped in and helped me get both of them replaced. We are now in the final stages of our punch list and I have hired them again to do an addition to my home; a master suite to include walk in closet and spa bathroom. If that doesn't say satisfaction I don't know what does!
