Elevate Design + Construct

We just wrapped up a full home renovation with Mike Garza and Elevate Design. We were very pleased with Mike's role both as architect and general contractor, and highly recommend him. He was great on communication and constantly kept us in the loop, and was a great partner to discuss "on the fly" changes as we were optimizing our spaces. Most importantly, our 80yr old house looks really good (almost brand new) while still maintaining some original elements that drew us to it 15yrs ago. It's now set for another 80 yrs. Thanks Mike!

Mike Garza served as our architect and general manager for construction of a significant addition and major renovation to our home. We were exceptionally pleased with him, with the subcontractors that he chose, with the process, and the final product, which was completed on the agreed upon timeline. Mike was extremely helpful, but never pushy, with the many decisions that are always required in a project of this scope. We highly recommend him and his company!

Mike asked us about what we wanted and provided a great design that met our expectations. Our remodel included removing the roof and adding an entire second story with attached garage and rooftop garden. The first story had a lot of structural that needed to be done to tie into the second story. There was also a lot of structural involved with the roof top garden. We are very happy with our new open floorplan. It looks like a brand new home.

Working with Elevate has been a great experience for us. The organization and communication on each project has been unparalleled in general construction. Before each project, a preconstruction sit down to cover all the details and make sure expectations are clear from the start. It shows throughout the project, not only with the customers but other subcontractors with their care for the end result. I hope to continue to work with Elevate for many years to come.

We recently worked with Mike Garza to design and ultimately build our new home. Initially, we worked with him only on the design phase and were amazed at how he was able to take our meager scribbles and drawings of the ideas in our minds, and transform them into a house plan that was exactly what we had envisioned. His understanding of proportion, sight lines and light is exceptional and he was able to incorporate each of those aspects where it mattered most. After leaving a previous contractor in disappointment, we were delighted to know that Elevate Design+Construct would also be able to build our home for us as well. Having confidence in knowing that the architect who designed the house was now going to be building it, we were relieved by how much Mike understood our needs to build a robust house for three small boys and two puppies. And, he did exactly that. Now, after living in the house for two months, it feels like us. It was made for us.
