Business Description
As one of House Beautiful's "Next Wave" of interior designers, Jill Goldberg and her team bring a youthful exuberance along with a fresh take on interiors to every project.
Hudson Interior Design is a full-service, residential design firm. Classic design foundations, with a mix of traditional, modern and vintage, define the Hudson Interior Design style.

Hudson Interior Design creates a sense of style and personality while always making sure that a home remains comfortable and approachable. Jill's approach to home interiors is influenced by a childhood spent in New England, with strong roots in New York City and years spent soaking up the California aesthetic.

Hudson Interior Design was founded in 2010, following the successful launch in 2006 of HUDSON, the home furnishings boutique. Winning accolades and "Best of" awards from the media, HUDSON claims the "Traditional, Country and Vintage meets Modern" approach to home design. Wallpaper deemed HUDSON one of Boston's must-see shops.

I'm sorry, but this article is all over the place.
What does the rule of three have to do with not breaking the bank? Maybe if it said "group 3 items you have even if they don't match" would've made sense.
Then... chic vanities cost way more than decently priced tiles. However, not entirely tiling a bathroom, so you can repainted in new a new colour when you fancy a change, that's what's not going to break the bank.
Wiring for bedside pendants is indeed great, until you decide to buy a bigger/smaller bed or to move your bed somewhere else in the room - I think it needs that qualifier.
And the second when you mention bespoke or custom made things, you talk serious money. However, I agree that the shelving and flowers are inexpensive solutions.

Plus (sorry, I might be out of line but I seriously despise this) arranging books by colour? How on Earth are you then supposed to find a specific book, 2 years after you last read it when you have more than 60 books and you can't remember the colour of the cover? It may be a design trick, but it's for people who don't read and just keep books for show. And honestly, who does that?? and why?

I know the unspoken rule is not to comment if you don't have anything good to say (and I apologise to the author and those who think the above tips are great), but I think my reaction comes mainly from disappointment. I was expecting some good budget solutions, fab -but cheapish products, links to easy DIY projects or - in the least - photographs of some less expensively adorned rooms. So it might be that my expectations were not met, but still... I think the title is very misleading.
