J. Aaron Custom Cabinetry & Wood Countertops

We did a remodel which included our kitchen. Our contractor procured a countertop from J. Aaron. We and they had issues with the original contractor. When our new contractor went to install it, we found it to be warped and cracked. We reached back out to J. Aaron and explained the situation, and they were unbelievably responsive. They offered to make a new countertop for us for just the cost of materials. We were ecstatic as the issue with the original counter rested with the contractor and in today's day and age of self-interest, there are very few companies that would do what they did. The new counter top arrived and was installed and looks beautiful. I would highly recommend them just on the quality product that they delivered. When we combine that with how they dealt with us, they get a five-star +++ rating. I strongly encourage anyone interested in a new wood countertop to make J. Aaron their first and last call!!!!

I really liked working with Debra, however, our small countertop arrived late and without the steel bars we paid extra for. Debra sorted it out and we were eventually sent the steel bars but it did cost us extra money to hire someone to come back and remedy the situation.

My new island top was installed this morning and I absolutely love it. A friend said it best when she said, “What a stunner”. From first contact to install this was a friendly pleasant experience. If I move and need another island top, J Aaron will be my one and only call. My kitchen looks so much better!!

Building a new home during the pandemic has been among the more stressful and trying experiences of my life. Labor shortages, backordered products, material shortages, and unexpected delays have been a constant. Working with J Aaron, however, was truly a fantastic and easy process. After scouring the web for reputable butcher block companies, I opted to visit J Aaron's offices in person to see some of their work and options. My daughter and I were personally greeted by the owner, Joshua, who gave us a thorough explanation of the various woods, techniques, and customizations available for these functional pieces of art. After settling on my choice of wood, Sapele, I proceeded to work with the sales manager, Deborah, who is Joshua's mother, to determine all the fine details. Through numerous phone calls and emails, she was a warm guiding personality who noted all of my preferences and even suggested several options to help me to save some money! The amount of time and care she took with me was so refreshing and greatly appreciated. Two weeks later, my butcher block countertops were ready and installed by Alfredo, Joshua's father-in-law. Like the rest of the people at J Aaron, he made sure that my countertops were installed PERFECTLY! Now, I cannot walk past them and not be in awe over how beautiful and well-built they are. They are the focal point of my kitchen and I could not be more pleased. Of the countless decisions I have made during this building process, opting to work with J Aaron has been among my best decisions. The workmanship is truly impeccable, but the customer service goes far beyond that. Joshua, Deborah, and Alfredo feel like old friends and certainly will be remembered each time I glance over at my lovely countertops. I cannot recommend this company enough! We used J. Aaron Custom Wood Countertops to replace our cooktop and coffee bar area countertops. We went with a walnut countertop with a thicker edge and the monocoat sealer. The counters were completed and delivered on time. We could not be happier with the end product. They are simply stunning! J. Aaron was also very helpful in working with our door fabricator who had not worked with the monocoat finish and had some questions. Overall it was a great experience, I wish I had more spaces that needed counters!

I bought one of the "stock slabs" (4' x 10') to re-do my kitchen island. I did a simple edge treatment as well as cut in for a farmhouse sink. The end product is beautiful. The stock slab was of very high quality and the finish was perfect. I used the suggested Monocoat finish (this stuff is absolutely the best) and I really don't think this top could be better (most suppliers were 2x-4x the cost). If you have a little "DYI" in ya, I highly recommend the stock sizes, but if not, J. Aaron can do everything for ya!!

Great experience from start to finish. Joshua and every member of the team were all great to work with and I could not be happier with my new kitchen island top. It is absolutely fabulous.

My countertops I purchased from J Aaron are absolutely beautiful and perfect. Josh and Debra are wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything as I wanted. The craftmanship is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

A few months ago I purchased an unfinished walnut countertop from Jarron Countertops. We were going back and forth on whether or not to purchase a finished or unfinished top. Debra, our sales associate, told us how easy it was to finish ourselves and it was. The top turned out beautiful. Unfortunately after being installed for only 2 months the glue started to separate. When I contacted Jarron they advised me that since I had purchased an unfinished top there was no warranty. Even though their website states the "will make it right quantee" It doesn't cover their craftsmanship on an unfinished top. Well now we know why there is no warranty on unfinished tops. Jarron obviously is aware of the problems with their unfinished countertops. Otherwise why wouldn't they guarantee them! When deciding to purchase a specialty piece like this I would definitely not purchase from Jarron Countertops. When their craftsmanship is sub par that is where the "will make it right guarantee" ends!

J. Aaron built us a 3" thick Walnut countertop 11' long and shipped it to us in Florida. The product was perfect, every cut or hole exactly where it should be, delivered on time. On top of that they made us some specialty floating shelves to match in walnut and they were perfect also. And if that is not enough their price was less than our local wood working shop. I did a wood counter top in my laundry and it is beautiful. They were great to work with, showed up on time and were very professional.
