Lovely Wood Countertop

In a world stuck on granite and quartz, it’s nice to see the warm of wood used for the countertop! Can you tell me a bit about this project? What type of wood was used? Is it durable enough for a kitchen? Who is the fabricator? Would love to do the exact same in my kitchen!

Hi Cathy,

Thank you. We are the fabricator of them. That's all we do, well we also do custom cabinetry but historically all we've done is custom wood countertops. This project utilized cherry, a very nice wood. Yes, it's very durable. It's a living finish though so it will scratch and ding over time but that's part of the charm.
