Donna with New Mood Design is the most talented and creative designer I’ve ever worked with. She is a great listener and therefore was very efficient in creating a wonderful design for adding contemporary designs to go with all my vintage family pieces. And she’s a very kind person too! She’s incredibly talented.

I chose to work with New Mood Design after speaking with several other companies/designers who, I felt, didn't want to take the time to really listen to my goals/challenges for my new home. After one conversation with Donna, I knew that she was listening attentively, and when we met for our first consultation she had already brought my vision to life with some of her initial ideas. Donna was the consummate professional throughout our project, and when unforeseen challenges emerged, she handled it and kept me insulated from the stress (thankfully). I hired Donna at New Mood Design to help us transition our move from a historical older home to a California Contemporary home. She effectively integrated our previous furniture and art into our new environment. Donna also listened and created the best way possible to build our elegant and art focused interior of our new home. She has great contacts in the Atlanta area from furniture builders to designer fabric specialists. She is more than just an “interior designer”. My husband and I hired Donna to furnish our new home. It was move-in ready, so we enlisted her help for furnishings. She more than exceeded our expectations! I had never worked with a designer before and interviewed several before landing on Donna. She was a very good listener, which I really appreciated. She "got" our taste immediately and would come up with 2-3 interesting ideas for a given piece of furniture - generally nailing it with at least one. The few times we asked for her to come up with something different, she delivered. I love pretty much every piece that she helped us pick out - from our ooh-ahh chandelier to our really neat couch to our custom carpets. Her art expertise was an added bonus. We did some great studio visits with local artists with her and went to a gallery as well. We love our home- it feels like us- but nothing we would have imagined without her creativity. Highly recommend Donna!

My husband and I purchased a new construction home in Peachtree City. We were overwhelmed with builder options and unsure which ones to select, so we hired Donna to help us choose paint colors, finishes and fixtures to meet our builder's deadline. She also helped us make choices about the room lay-out options the builder offered. Because that went so well we hired Donna again to help us with the design theme and furnishings for our future home. Donna's such a great listener and she paid attention to our tastes, how we live and our budget. We're very excited about the look Donna created for our new home. Some designers might claim to do modern, while working primarily on a traditional aesthetic common to Atlanta. Conversely, Donna specializes in modern and conveys a vision befitting her visual art background. An easy communicator with impeccable attention to detail, Donna was the perfect collaborator to create a uniquely sensual and intentional kitchen remodel. The most gratifying evidence that Donna knocked it out of the park was the clients overwhelming satisfaction at the completion of the project.
