We could not be happier with the work done by OZ. We’ve done countless home renovations over the years and the level of professionalism, attention to detail and attentiveness we got from OZ were unmatched. The design that was done by Uzi (owner) and Lori (designer) was an easy, flexible, and enjoyable process. The level of customer service we received from Mike (the PM) was something we never before experienced. To call him just a project manager is a vast understatement. He checked in nearly every day to keep us abreast of the project status and showed us in detail what work was happening and why. When we had design decisions his considerable experience was invaluable. When the team was shorthanded due to Covid, he put on kneepads and did the work to keep them on track. He never forgot a single item that we discussed and made it unnecessary for us to keep our own punch list. All of this is great but what matters most is the final product and this is where OZ shined. Caesar (crew leader) and his team had impeccable attention to detail and never took a single shortcut. They completely redesigned our kitchen, updated our den, built us a new custom fireplace, installed several new windows and replaced nearly half of the floors in our house. Several months later it is still impossible to find any issues. Everyone who came to our house was polite, professional, and patient with our questions. As far as we could tell they all worked for OZ and none were subcontractors. The cabinets are built here on Long Island by folks who support families on the Island. When they did hit installation issues, the cabinet builders themselves came to the house to resolve them! When friends come over to check out the work, they are consistently amazed and can’t stop complimenting the project. Anyone who has done even a few home projects will realize how rare this all is. We’ll never do another remodel with anyone but OZ. Great work guys!!

We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Oz has done for us. They are truly professionals, and their workmanship is outstanding. Our only regret is that we did not find them sooner. Uzi and Mike were helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and always available. They were consistently willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Our kitchen looks beautiful!! They helped us to customize it to exactly how we wanted it. Jose and his crew were fantastic. They were very professional, and their work was excellent. They also would always go the extra step to make sure that we were satisfied. My family and I have been members of the OZ Customer Roster since 2014. We have recommended OZ General Contracting Co. Inc. to family, neighbors, co-workers and friends. OZ maintains an extensive showroom with a professional and caring staff. Design teams worked with us in providing recommendations and offering energy efficient solutions. Architectural computer schematics provided us insight to the finished project. OZ renovated our kitchen and two bathroom. The work was meticulous. The work teams were neat, timely, polite, reliable, trustworthy, well-coordinated and masterful at undertaking any and all of our requests. The Foreman and Project Leads were always coordinated and accommodating. We were consistently apprised of developments. No detail was too large, small or insignificant. Everyone was committed to our project and expressed a genuine interest in its outcome. Consignment dates and installations were respected and on schedule. To this day, we consult with Oz for future renovation projects. For us, the end of the project was not, in any way, the end of our relationship.  

We performed an exhaustive search for an all-in-one general contractor to execute the complete renovation of our hall (main) bathroom and powder room. With short list in hand, we began checking on-line reviews. OZ General Contractors was an easy decision for us. At our first visit to the OZ showroom, we scheduled an onsite visit for necessary measurements. Uzi came to our home as scheduled, listened to our interest and concerns. We explained we were about to embark on a home makeover, that the first two bathrooms were Phase 1 of our plan. We were very comfortable with him - I’m sure you will be too! He had us visit the showroom shortly thereafter to discuss plans/options, pricing and next steps. We were happy to see 3-D renderings he had prepared for his recommendations and available alternatives… I immediately grew confident that he understood our goals. Before we left, we gladly signed the agreement to engage their service. First, we scheduled a meeting Lori, a staff designer the following week. When we arrived, she had suggested combinations of flooring, wall tile, counter tops and cabinets prepared for us to consider… this made refinement and selection a snap. Before long, our scheduled start date arrived. We were told they’d be at our home by 9:00 am on the scheduled Monday - two crews, one for each bathroom. The goal was to complete both bathrooms by the weekend. I was happy to look out the front window of our home shortly after 8:00 am on the scheduled start date and see a parked OZ truck along with a an unmarked pickup truck in front of my home. At 8:45 am, the doorbell rang and work commenced. First thing the did was lay protective floor covering from the front door to the target work spaces. 5-days later, on schedule, they cleaned up, packed up and were done. There was a short punch list of items that needed to be tended to thereafter. Our project manager Nicholas was attentive to these items, all were completed in short order. The administrative staff and personal involvement of Uzi and Mike were stellar throughout. The onsite staff are courteous to my wife - she’s completely comfortable with them in our home… and our dog loves them too! We subsequently hired OZ for phase 2, kitchen renovation and are in the midst of it right now. Long and short, they showed up on the scheduled Monday morning like clockwork and have continued to execute service as I’ve come to expect from them. Because of this experience, I’m elated to recommend OZ General Contracting - they have earned this reference and continue to earn my business. Phases 3 and 4 - living room & den renovations + Master bedroom and master bathroom are just around the corner.

We have just completed our FOURTH project with OZ. Our main and master bathroom full gut and reinvented. The results exceeded our expectation. But that is no surprise. Oz redesigned and renovated our kitchen and the result was amazing. Oz also did a complete renovation in our basement and that project gave us the confidence that all of OZ's work is top notch. In every phase of project, OZ's workers were punctual, skilled, courteous and left the job every day with a complete cleanup as if they were never there. Sergio was our crew chief. He and his guys were great. The tile crew was meticulous and a complex mosaic was installed with precision. Mike was our project manager and he was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Lori was very helpful getting our project visualized. Uzi, thank you and your people for delivering fantastic work. We absolutely love the work you have done in our home and we're glad to be part of the "OZ" family.

Looking forward to a completed kitchen and bathroom. My project is starting soon. Excellent design service and project management. The design guidance and expertise provided is wonderful. We had a complete gut of our bathroom by Oz Contracting Company. In five days we had a beautiful new bathroom. The workers were neat, experienced and careful men. They always left the house clean at the end of each day. Our new bathroom is perfect! We recommend Oz to everyone.

Oz remodeled our bathroom. I wanted to relocate the tub/shower in our bathroom, and they were the only contractor who didn't try to discourage me with cautionary tales of holes in the basement ceiling, huge additional costs, etc. They succeeded with no problem whatsoever. We had to make a few last minute design decisions after the space was gutted; while my solution was a new one to them, they were respectful of my decision and appreciative of the result! The workmen were very professional, completing the job on time with beautiful results. Their showroom offers materials in a broad range of prices and their designers are helpful and knowledgeable. They had no problem when we wanted to bring in furnishings from other vendors, even offering to pick them up from the point of sale. They have a 3 year warranty and have been back once to correct a problem which arose after the job was complete. They're great!
