I worked with RADCON on a client site. Good to work with and also do beautiful quality work. Nice team of people to work with.

We changed every surface of a newly purchased (but older) home, John gave detailed and comprehensive contracts for each phase (over the span of nearly two years), so we would know exactly how much everything would cost (with the exception of our own change orders) and what was happening when. He responded to all our emails, even the myriad details in the final punch-list. John was flexible when we made changes, and provided guidance and assistance and had some great ideas during the design phase. John states his company goes above and beyond, and one event clearly demonstrating this was when PG&E replaced the gas meter, passed inspection, but failed to turn the gas back on. We called PG&E, but they were busy on other service calls. We called John, and he came over about 7pm on a Friday evening, wrench in hand to turn the gas on, relight the water heater, test the gas stove and oven, to make sure we had a livable environment for the weekend. Now that construction is completed we are enjoying our beautifully remodeled home thanks to RADCON Builders.

We have worked with Radcon Builders as a supplier for many years, and it's always been a pleasure working with John on his projects. He's always a professional in making sure his clients get the best materials, and he takes the time to place orders in a timely manner to minimize any possible delays for his clients.

John was the second contractor we worked with during our house remodeling project. The experience with the first one was absolutely awful. Working with John was a counterpoint to that. He is a profession and low key contractor. There's not a lot of drama working with John. John is very clear about what he will do, how much it'll cost t and how long it'll take him to do. There were no surprises with John. He uses a contractor website service that covers all the work he is doing. Every change is processed through the website so there is a clear paper trail of what has been asked for and approved. He won't start on a change before approval, which is how it should be. I have recommended John to several friends and one is in the middle of a remodel with him. That seems to be progressing as well as ours did.

We remodeled our kitchen, remodeled the existing bath and added a second bath. John and his crew were always on time, put in a full eight hours everyday, did beautiful work and left the construction areas clean at the end of the day. We would hire them again and recommend them to others.

John's knowledge and background in construction allows him and his team to collaborate with me and my clients at high standards. Radcon Builders was responsible for a major update, remodel and repair of our home. The workmanship, in every case, was simply... excellent. All work was done on time, and met or exceeded our expectations.. (This was our 6th remodel, so our expectations were really quite high). Radcon's Design and Build website allowed real time updates and communication between the contractor and us. We were delighted with the results and are already in communication about another upcoming project...

We carefully researched several recommended builders to do a whole-house remodel before choosing Radcon & John Rovedo. We checked out homes John had built several years prior; talked to the owners about their experience to see if they were still pleased with the work John had done. It was unanimous; their homes were beautiful, careful attention to every detail was given, and John's work held up over the years. Everyone was pleased. We were concerned about the higher cost of the Radcon bid, but it became clear that the old adage 'you get what you pay for' was accurate. The work of other builders might have cost less; but their lower quality of materials and workmanship was apparent. So, we went with Radcon. John and his crew were extremely professional, creative, helpful, and knowledgeable. John's schedules and prices were accurate. Today, 7 years after we moved back in to our gorgeous 'new' home John's workmanship has held up beautifully; and we have a VERY hard working house with 4 kids and their friends here perpetually. I love the home John built for us; and would highly recommend Radcon to anyone who cares about quality and getting the job done right!

Radcon Builders is a great company led by John Rovedo who has many talents including design, construction, and even dealing with the city and building inspector! I have engaged with Radcon 2 times over the past 5 years. Initially for a small project to do some upgrades on a home I purchased that included new doors, crown molding and painting, John was timely and effective and I thought did a great job. The second and larger job was the addition of 750 square feet including a 2nd story to my 60 year old ranch home. John assisted from design, architecture review, city approval and building and subcontracting out the job. My timeline was short (6 months) and we were able to complete in time despite many challenges with the city. I love the way the home turned out and am looking forward to my next engagement with Radcon.

My husband and I hired John Rovedo to design and build a two-story addition on our 1950's ranch home. John worked closely with us on the design and, with his input, made our vision better than what we dreamed it could be! His knowledge and experience in construction and working with city planning commissions made a tremendous difference in time and cost savings. John's pricing for our project was spot on and he finished the job on time. You can be assured that John will tell you the truth about cost and schedule. He is a person of integrity. I can't speak highly enough about the crew. Everyone is courteous and professional. Their workmanship is truly exceptional. Construction can be dirty, but the Radcon crew never leaves a mess. In my opinion what really sets Radcon Builders apart is their commitment to their customer. They treat their clients like they are family. Our remodel was over 7 years ago and John still offers to do warranty work to this day. You can't go wrong hiring Radcon Builders.

Radcon Builders remodeled the interior of our house several years ago and more recently redid our back yard. We are very happy with both jobs: this is a review of our landscaping job. We started our project working with a landscape architect to create the initial design, but without a clear idea of the costs involved. When we progressed to the stage of getting bids, John Rovedo worked hard to help us understand the total cost of the design we had chosen and to remove or change appropriate items to come in within our budget and still have a design that would work. At this stage, we realized our backyard kitchen was too expensive and removed it from the design, leaving only the wall at the back. John saw at once that removing the kitchen would remove a focal point for the design and suggested a fountain wall as a much less expensive item that would still add drama. He sent us fountain pictures and costs, and I have to say now that the whole thing is completed: that fountain is terrific. Two 3 ft wide cascades of water into a rock lined pool with lighting are definitely the focal point of the yard when we are entertaining. John was spot-on in terms of cost for the whole project and the guidance he gave us on costs showed his level of experience. As far as schedule, once the rainy season started our yard went into hiatus for many months before the concrete could be poured and work could resume, so our schedule was much longer than we had hoped. During both our jobs with Radcon, John and his people talked to our neighbors as the job progressed making sure trucks, etc didn't get in their way, keeping the tensions to a minimum. We highly recommend Radcon.

Radcon has done several projects for me directly. The last project at this location was a complete kitchen and staircase remodel. The team was very respectful that we were still living in the house. During tear out, the team executed in one day and cleaned up such that there was no danger to my small kids from the destruction. Radcon met timeline commitments and was within 10% of the overall project budget that we agreed too. We were pleased with the quality of work and would hire Radcon again for our large remodel and/or build from scratch plans.
