Great list. Seeing as we often spend more time in the office than we do at home, keeping a "green" office is quite important. For us, we emphasize the use of only eco-friendly wood furniture. All of our furniture is non-toxic and guaranteed for life (meaning it has a long lifespan which is contributes to sustainability in itself.) If anyone is curious, our home office furniture is all locally made in Vermont from sustainably sourced, Northeastern woods: http://vermontwoodsstudios.com/categories/home-office-furniture

Belinda, have you ever heard of people bringing outdoor furniture indoors for the office? It's been a recent trend for us. POLYWOOD furniture is made from recycled milkjugs, taking plastic out of landfills and turning it into sturdy, low maintenance furniture. Office furniture gets a lot of wear and tear so this makes a good alternative for people afraid of damaging their natural wood. http://bit.ly/1v1KbKa
