Does the bentgrass hold up to kid play?

Hi, what type of bentgrass did you use and will it hold up to lots of kids play?

    I would say that the Agrostis pallens holds up to light to moderate wear. Even the toughest lawn struggles with continued play on it.

    Are the wear characteristics affected by whether you mow it or not? We just installed this in our front yard with kids using it only occasionally. I'm considering letting it go as it seems to mostly just flop over when I attempt to mow it anyway. I think I recognize this pic from a city of Santa Monica website (part of decision to pick this grass in first place!). Nice work!
