Will it tolerate east sun in zone 6?

    There are varieties of heuchera that have been hybridized to withstand more sun than others: obsidian & dark secret work well here in zone 5
    They should work well in Z6. You can check with your local garden center for any newer types, they recommend for sun. I hear 'black out' is also sun tolerant; however, we have not used in full sun as of yet.
    Of course these are members of the heuchera family so some traits will surface, during droughts additional watering will be needed. In the above example these beds are irrigated, and in full sun they thrive. Please excuse the delay in response, after a busy landscaping season we are finally able to catchup in office, and I don't remember getting a notice from houzz regarding your question. (It perhaps got lost in spam) my appologies.
