Gallery wall

Thoughts on this space? Should I do the ladder or the clock? Do I need more frames? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have the option of putting a longer table there to fill more of then wall space and provide more table space? That would be one thing I would do. Is the lamps needed for lighting? If not I would replace with a colorful piece of pottery or a vase. If needed for lighting I would choose a base with a different color as it gets lost in the table. I love the framed pictures and you could add more... Maybe other color frames or frames with unusual artwork for variety? The gray wall gives you lots of options to use your favorite colors in the frames and collectibles you put on the table. Not a fan of the ladder, sorry, think it is just a distraction.

not sure you need a ladder to get up there, so it might not belong, you have a bunch of cords hanging out at the bottom of the table that need to be tidied up. especially since you are making a nice focal point. I think you need a longer table that hides the cords and runs the length of the picture "space". I think over all the wall looks good, and the idea is great. the lamp base blends too much with the table top, perhaps get one with a decorative shade, or add a punch of color to the table.

I'm not a fan of the ladder. It could be an interesting accent somewhere else in your house, but doesn't seem to work on this wall.

I also like the idea of your black & white gallery with some color on the table below. Maybe some piled up books with colorful jackets in neat stacks on the shelves. Not too much color, but some color.

I would also like the idea of moving your lamp on the side of your table instead of placing it in the middle. I think a lamp base with more color and maybe some pattern would be better. A different lamp or paint/alter the one you have (I like its shape).

Just my thoughts---follow your own heart : )

Hmmm, it's good but could be better. Move the lamp to one side, add something colourful, like flowers to the console, remove the ladder, add something sculptural to the grouping. And as to the photos, I think you may need to mix it up, it's too uniform.

I like the lamp and the general direction you're taking...it's a bit cluttered. I'd pare down, less is more. Paint the frames all black or dark gray, remove some of the stuff on the table and remove the ladder. Unless you're putting magazines, or so etching on there, it doesn't make sense.
