Dated Dining Room now Dream Dining Room (Hudson Residence II)

Dining room walls were removed (between kitchen and living room) to create a more spacious feel and allow better sight lines (and water views!). The beautiful new table and custom upholstered chairs in the project's signature fabric were oriented the other way and this room is the first thing you see upon entering the home.

    I absolutely love the chairs! They were the first thing that caught my eye. I love the element of circles that you used. What a transformation!

    I like the removed walls and lighter paint. The remodel is wonderful. However, I think I could have lived with the old dining room furniture. If you have the $$ you should get what you like.

    Incredible! I'm just paintiing my living/dining in a soft grey, a big departure from the golds and beiges that I've done for years. It was a leap of faith out of my comfort zone, but I'm loving it. I am in the furniture biz, and I help people make choices nearly every day, but when it comes to me, I sometimes have problems. Beautiful room. I love the drapery fabrics chosen, custom I presume?

    Love the circle motif that's repeated throughout the whole house, in the rug, the chairs, the drapes, the various chandeliers, the bar stools and even the picture frames on the built-ins. I like that bird fabric, as well. Nicely done.

    For those that enquired: The dining room table and chairs are from Hickory White (see www.hickorywhite.com - "Oval Dining Table 650-11" and "Arm Chair 531-63-55"). Note that custom fabrics were used on the chairs.

    The chandelier is: Corbett Embrace 134-48 Eight Light Pendant Satin Silver Leaf Finish. Note that we had the finish touched up by hand as it was not as silver as we liked.

    @RMI - Rebecca Mitchell Interiors -

    Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! My journey to "the perfect" table has been long, so finding your post gives me hope. :) (I know, first world problems.)

    Could you provide any insight on a $ investment range on this piece (or Hickory White, in general)?
