Thank you I've been considering a bench in front of the bed. Any suggestions for a color?

Maybe something w an upholstered white/grey tiny pattern? So it doesn't compete w the gorgeous bed and duvet...

As long as there's not too much black- I would not want my eye going to the bench first and not the bed
Sometimes I look on sites like Williams and Sonoma, Ballard designs or pottery Barn. Just to get ideas. I'm sure you do not want to spend $1000 on a foot bench! Sometimes you can get pretty lucky at a discount place like Marshall's or Home Goods. And overstock.com is worth checking out too!

All the elements in the room are beautiful, but it looks sterile...like an upscale hotel room. It needs some color to personalize it with some personality. How about colored lamps and/or lampshades? Maybe a soft yellow gold? The dresser holding the TV is too small for that wall. Can you get a larger piece and hang TV on wall? Pull arm chair out of corner closer to dresser. Or try two chairs with a low round table in corner...glass top? A spot for coffee, reading, talking, etc. put throw pillows in chairs in pattern in same yellow shade as lamps. Find 3 good-sized b & w sketches for hanging over headboard - portrait orientation hung side by side add a couple of yellow throw pillows on bed.

Thanks for all the feedback. The television actually is on the wall. Not sure I like yellow with these colors. Was considering a soft pink? I do want something over the bed maybe I can bring in soft pinks and grey there?

Soft pink would be beautiful, especially if you layer 2-3 close shades rather than using just one.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm thinking a painting over the headboard with soft pink in it and a solid soft pink bench at the foot rest. My floor chandelier should be in next week so I will post updated pictures of that as well

Hi everyone I was able to get my lamp installed today but now I don't think the white pillow really works thinking about going with a gray one instead. Also would you add a very small side table to this area in silver? Thanks for the advice

Yes to adding some color! I would lean towards a creamy peach rather than pink for walls and adding a white bench with lots of texture like a faux fur. Add some pillows that have a large scale print with brighter colors like teal and coral. Have fun!
