Do you have a picture of the big golden leaf arcacia? If you have a sample, lay it by your cabinets & post a pic of it. I wouldn't go really dark because I agree with Rebecca that it shows every speck of dust. I have friends who have gone with the dark & while its pretty they say its never clean. I think something mid-toned would look good. I once had gunstock oak floors with light honey hickory cabinets. I thought it was beautiful & the floors didn't show every speck. If you like something with a red tint, go with it. Have you seen what you like in a whole room? I have dark cabinets now & had to go with a natural floor. I didn't like the idea of that, but a couple of people I knew had the same floors. After I looked at theirs I felt much better about using the light color. Try to find a show room or a business where they've used that color.
