Have you checked into today's new UV window films - they aren't your granny's films now. Might work without interfering with the view. Depending on what's outside, you could install a retractable awning to lower at night and raise out of the way of the view once you're up.

Glare reduction is always tricky and a matter of how dark can you go... You need a high glare reduction film, think sunglasses dark to keep you from waking up in the morning. In many cases this is darker than you may want the rest of the day. It is hard to tell how much light you have from that exposure. I have a darker film and blackout roller shades in the bedroom for maximum light control with the view not as much of a concern. A combination of options may prove to work best for your situation.
