I put a pendant style lamp over my dining table that has a solid metal shade. The light is great while I am eating, but the room itself is dark. The light I had before lit up the room as the bulbs were more exposed. I love the look of the new light and am wondering if I should send it back and get something else? Or add some 'up' lighting.
