I am not a fan of a raised bar section. I like when it is all one height. For one reason, you will have less counter top space to work with at both heights. Another reason, is that things can fall from one level to the next... potentially causing harm to the items below (counter top, sink, faucet etc).

And I wouldn't do it in two different colors. I don't know what "rococo" is.... but unless it's two totally different materials/ looks, like the picture below- wood & quartz... I don't think I'd personally do that. It will visually separate the bar from the kitchen.

Hi. I think 10' is pretty long to do two heights unless you do something creative. Like one end a raised table versus bar, perhaps? But, I agree with A Direct-having it all one level for this island.

Something like this works well for a 10' island.
