Hi Nicole. This should be resolved by tomorrow morning. Robert Abbey is shutting down for July 4th holiday and will reopen on July 8th. All new orders will be shipped after July 8th.

Oh, I see. So you don't have an actual lamp in stock? I ordered this from another retailer not too long ago and cancelled the order after waiting nearly six months on a backorder. I don't want to purchase this and then wait months and months. Can you confirm with the company they will actually be able to ship July 8th?

Hi Nicole. I just spoke to Robert Abbey and they said this item will be available for shipping mid to late August. This is an import line and there is over 1000 items in their line. It's not unusual for an item to be back ordered for up to 4-8 weeks. Six months would be highly unusual and may have been due to other circumstances such as a retailer having credit issues with their vendor.
