My boyfriend and I are trying to pick out wallpaper that will go in our bedroom as an accent wall. We want something with a large geometric print, a raised design, with some metallic silver. We have narrowed down some options.

We are going to paint the walls grey. Are there any tips for coordinating the paint color with the colors in the wallpaper? Like if you have dark walls, you should pick a light wallpaper or vice versa. Should we try to match a color in the wallpaper to the paint color?
