Hi!

I am hoping someone here will have some creative ideas :) The black tempered glass on my dining table shattered for no reason. I was downstairs and heard it "explode" on the roof. The company has agreed to replace the glass, or give us some money towards buying a new table. I'm reluctant to use glass again, because it was so painful cleaning it up, if this were to happen again.

Do you have any ideas of another very weather resistant material I could replace the top with? Composite wood? Something else? And if anyone has any experience doing something like this. I'd like to keep the table if possible, just nervous about glass again.
