Does anyone know how durable this chair is? Would it be "rainproof?" We are looking for some new lounge chairs for our home in northern NV and I'd like to find something that would hold up for at least 3-4 year's of use. Thank you.

Unless the entire frame is aluminum, it will rust and the chairs will be trash. You can't apply "rust proof" to the areas that are covered with "wicker". The legs of the two I purchased from another retailer had the legs that were covered in wicker exactly like these turned to dust.

The chairs are pretty durable. Although the item is weather resistant, it is not weather proof. It is best to keep a fresh coat of anti-rust. It is also important to cover the item when not in use to decrease sun damage.

Thank you for getting back to me. Good to hear the chairs are weather resistant. I was confused though about putting "anti-rust" compound on wicker. Do you mean just on the bar in the back?

Are these good quality chairs? We live in Florida and a lake and have a lot of rain. We can move them under cover but will be exposure to the elements most of the time. Thank you. Are they make out of PE Wicker?

We have had our chairs for three years and they are as good as new. We store them under cover but outdoors over the winter. They are amazing value.
