Really love the fireplace treatment and the tie in color in the adjoining room. I'm getting ready to start experimenting with brick painting and cant find much about this. What kind of paint can be used when painting brick around a fireplace? Do considerations need to be made for high heat? What typically can go wrong when painting brick? For example, do the bricks need to breathe and what happens if they can't?
