we are updating our kitchen. We want dark/white antiqued concept. I have done the dark pieces (island, fireplace and roll top desk) as well as the trim and base boards in the back of the space (eating area). this is a good size space. We want the cabinets to be white with antiquing. Our question is which shade of white paint? Too white would be too modern for the look, but too dark and the end result will just look dirty. I need some suggestions. This is my first refinishing project so all the advice is welcome. I have sanded all surfaces in an effort to keep the look crisp and not 'painted'. also, we will finish off the project with granite counter tops so those are still to follow. consider that when you see the pics i have attached.
