I'd love to see you paint your trim white. this will allow you sooooo many more options with your palette! you could then use the revere pewter. It's one of my favorite paint colors. but i actually settled on cape hatteras sand when I painted my own open concept home. and i am so glad I did...it is a bit deeper and richer and it looks a little different in different areas ant at different times of the day.

You could go with pewter but will have to change up cushions, maybe slip covers, and blinds and accessories to match. Because the trim has a "warmer" undertone a khaki-gray would work too.
