I am helping my dad brainstorm ideas for his basement. They want an inexpensive option for finishing their concrete floors that will be easy to clean up in my dad's workshop section (so, potentially leaving it concrete and finishing it nicely), will look nice for the "hang out section" (which will probably involve putting some nice rugs down to warm it up) and be soft enough for future grandkids (yikes) to play on. Does anyone have any person experience with this dilemma? What has worked for you?
