We are adding a sunroom to our house that joins the living room and breakfast room which have oak engineered flooring. The flooring is no longer available. How would it look to use a natural colored wood floor and run it diagonally in the new space? The oak floor and the natural floor would meet at the door to the breakfast room and at the double French pocket doors into the living room. Would this look terrible, or should we just use carpet and be done with it?
