Questions for Contractor

We're conducting contractor interviews for a screen porch conversion into a 3 1/2 season living space and we'd like advice on questions we should ask potential contractors. The sq. feet will double & require the enclosure of outdoor space and the development of a new patio area too. We're seeking a general contractor who can provide ideas in addition to just being a space builder. Questions please.
