We are having a nice Mediterranean custom red cedar gate built for our Coastal home. The gate will have a black iron insert with spindles and knuckles, and a small section of wrought iron fencing very nearby. We had hoped for black hammered iron hardware and clavos, but it rusts so easily near the Ocean ... Builder would like to use a dark bronze door handle and hardware because it'll stand up better. Can one find flat black powder-coated bronze hardware somewhere? Trying to avoid bronze color and black iron within same gate. We're 1/2 mile from the Ocean in CA. Appreciate any thoughts or appropriate hardware leads.
