This cute bungalow was on the market for next to nothing. And came with a moose named Stanley and a marlin named Marvin. These are a few of the before and mid-way pictures I have to share. This cute bungalow is on a beautiful 150 ft lake front piece of land. It had paneling throughout, rotted piers, mud wasps living in the walls, not to mention a few other critters. We kept what we could: cabinets, paneling (took it down to re insulate... And rehung believe it or not!), and the layout. We even kept the two islands and reconfigured them into and L-shape in the kitchen. We added a loft for the kids. We did every bit of the work ourselves between my husband and I, and the help of a few excellent friends. It's still a work in progress & have done it on a shoe string budget. But we can finally stay there with finding bugs in our bed! :) What do you think?
