We assume that if you are reading this you are looking to get an idea of the kind of work Chelsea does, and what it is like to work with them. We chose Chelsea to remodel our kitchen, and in the end, WOW did they deliver. Simply put, Chelsea exceeded our expectations in every aspect from beginning to end. Their design team listened to us and came up with a plan that perfectly matched what we hoped to accomplish with our remodel. Every step of the way, the entire Chelsea team came across as both professional and talented. We marveled at the incredible level of communication, punctuality, and earnestness they maintained with us throughout the process. If you can believe it, our Project Manager would text us every evening to keep us posted on the progress and upcoming schedule. Above all, Chelsea is unquestionably committed to the highest quality craftsmanship. Their attention to every detail was extraordinary, and we never had to worry that things wouldn’t be done absolutely the right way. Over time, we developed a level of trust in Chelsea that was remarkable. It was like we had family working with us. We could not recommend Chelsea more enthusiastically.

We were lucky enough to work with Chelsea Construction on our family home. Ours was a major renovation and required not only historic restoration, but also new construction. Mark and his team were professional, fair and honest. They brought a sense of pride to the project; no detail overlooked. Chelsea Construction renovated our new kitchen, laundry room, wine room and family room, almost from the ground up. And it is the most beautiful area ever. They were extremely professional, arriving on time daily and respectful of our family’s ongoing residency during construction. They worked closely with our designer and architect on all aspects and aimed to please. The project took longer than expected but we also explanded the scope to include my husband’s bathroom, and an additional area that included another bathroom and gym, as well as a partial renovation of two other bathrooms. They did such good work that we are in the process of hiring them to renovate another large room.

We hired Chelsea Design + Construction to completely gut and restore a 5,000 square foot house originally built in the 1930's. It was a complex job that required the complete replacement of all systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, low voltage) and replacement of all finishes (painting, tile, flooring, cabinetry, woodwork, ironwork, etc.). The job also included the addition of two new rooms (kitchen and laundry room). In addition to the interior work, the scope included exterior work as well - landscaping, hardscaping and pool replacement. Chelsea did outstanding work and were able to preserve the architectural integrity of the house. Their craftsmanship was excellent and their service and responsiveness exceeded our expectations. Relative to other bids we got for the project, Chelsea's pricing was very competitive. Most importantly, Chelsea was extremely fair, reasonable and creative in their approach. I would happily use Chelsea Construction again and would strongly recommend Chelsea Construction to friends and family.

"I am so glad we chose Chelsea as our contractor". This is what I blurted out to my wife one day near the completion of our project. We were living abroad most time of the year then, and needed to do an extensive upper floor interior renovation of our condo in Southern California. It wasn't a huge project but one which needed structural modification and was not going to be cheap. It was definitely a risky project to manage from abroad. Alarm bells rang early when the original general contractor our design firm recommended to us was showing sign of poor communication. I work in automotive/industrial design industry and know a few things or two about managing complex long-term build project. Worst thing you can have is a team that does not communicate. Because I am an engaged client, I knew this was going to be a problem and could not proceed as is. So search was on for another general contractor.... We needed a general contractor with clear and fast communication, highest level of craftsmanship, pride of work, and absolutely clear management of project billing. Luckily, we found Chelsea Construction on this Houzz site as leading contractor in our property locale. With stellar reviews from previous clients and awesome portfolio of work, it was easy to see Chelsea's high work quality. It quickly got our attention. Our original inquiry on Houzz was responded by Mark, the owner, on the same day. It was a great sign and our interview was setup soon. Ever since then, it was smooth sailing. Each step along quotation process, contract process, city permit and subsequent billing process was handled very professionally by Ms. Jackie at Chelsea Management office. Our assigned project manager, Jorge, was beyond belief on his meticulousness, attentiveness, followup and accessibility at all times, night and day, literally. (One night, from abroad, I received an emergency email from HOA saying our association sewer backed up to a few condo unit garages. Jorge was a saint who made a trip out to our property, checked damages and alerted us with status. He even cleaned up the backup mess with his best effort. Thank you Thank you). Jorge managed multiple projects but he was able to follow each project down to every hardware spec and progress status. Each trade staff and vendors were all trustworthy and highly skilled, electrical by Miguel, Tiling by Horacio, Plumbing by Ralph, Charleton Cabinetry, Carpentry, just to name a few. We are extremely happy with our renovation. It is not a luxury home, but the upgrade made our property much more functional and useful to our lifestyle thanks to Chelsea's patience, skills, and ability to manage and execute project from clients abroad via Whatsapp, 24hrs!!! Chelsea is definitely NOT the cheapest general contractor you will find in El Canada/Pasadena/Los Angeles area. However, it was the best decision of our project. Chelsea Construction is a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. Both Mark Snashall (Owner) and Jackie Aspeitia (Office Manager) were always professional, patient and courteous. All employees showed a high level of responsiveness and respect. Chelsea Construction did a complete redesign/renovation of our kitchen, butler's pantry and basement. Our project was completed on time and just under budget. Mark, a carpenter by trade, was hands on, paid close attention to detail and was incredibly responsive. Chelsea far exceeded our expectations and we would immediately turn to them if we were to have any additional renovation needs. We had a fairly significant renovation that included a new basement with a new Garden Room at the ground floor and a Master-bath expansion above. With the amount of excavation and shoring we moved out of the house for 1 Year. Chelsea Construction did a great job communicating with me and my family. We used Chelsea Construction to remodel our first floor, all while we lived upstairs. Mark and his crew are wonderful to work with on a project of any size.
