We are in need of some idea's to redo are fireplace wall and main living space. We started by replacing the flooring on the entire lower level with hardwood it is warm tones and alot of variation. We have purchased a brown leather sofa and the entire level is painted Killian Beige. It is a open concept design so furniture and art placement are also a challange. The livingroom is 14'x18' with the west wall being almost a full window wall then the focal wall has firplace and tv combo. We were thinking of purchasing two media cabinets for both sides of the fireplace then doing some floating shelves above. We are very puzzled on what to do with the firplace, we looked at hundreds of photos and can't decide what would look right in this house. I have attached some pictures of what we have done so far and also the cabinets that we were considering. We also have remodeled our kitchen. We installed new cherry cabinets with a shaker style door they are also midtone brown with ss appliances. We are going with a granite countertop called sienna beige, (see photo)..... Not sure what to do for a backsplash. Any help appreciated.
