Yes, I talked to the lady and she said that are cups she put to protect the floor. . It's made of oak and it's dark brown, cushions are guava color (not orange).
I have to go there to sit and check if it's okay not comfortable. . So that's why I was asking you if the lines or design is good to have it

Angle the chair just a bit more away from the tv, unless that is absolutely the best for your mother in law. Gosh, it is totally perfect for right there and love the lttle table you found for it. Nice of her to give you the pillow....do you like it better than any you have?

Why not try that plant over on the other side of the tv. It is a great plant for this room and now it can be right by the window. Maybe put the STUFF in the car just to get it out of there???

Where is the pic from? By the door or by the stairs? Can it go on the wall to the right of the tv the way grover showed once?

I am so happy you found a chair for by the stairway. I remember that was a huge concern the last time we played in your home. That is why the table was just sitting there for no reason other than filling in the space. Your room all works now......all of it! Nothing to do but enjoy it!

Carolina -- love the chair! The dark wood and the cushion color are perfect and I'm glad you found one with fabric in an apricot color! I would use the pillow the lady gave to you with the chair -- it really adds depth to the chair and makes it pop!

Also, could you please move the plant just a tiny bit closer to the television, so it's more centered between the window, the corner and the tv. It looks a wee bit off-center in the photo!

I think a beautiful floor lamp would look fantastic on the other side of the tv in the corner. You could use it for soft mood light or for a reading light by the new chair. Here's some lamp ideas for that corner! Your husband is going to be very impressed!

Hey... sorry I am back... I found this print in my storage room... because the color I thought it might work... I dont want to add too much stuff... I rather prefer be simple.. Maybe remove something to add this or just keep it the way that was before (no print)... let me tell you yesterday i had to take out the plant because was in it a little frog making noises... terrible. I will buy a new one :) i am scared to them )

I like that new pic a lot! You are so right about the colors working in your room and you needed a bit of art at that end of the room. It MIGHT need to go a bit higher.....will see what everyone else says, so leave it for now. And i am not sure which side, either. I like it on the chair side with all the colors there, but it fills in the other side nicely, too.

I think she meant in the photo you had online for her to look at with the plant and to move the plant a bit since the plant was off centered.

My heart is smiling! You are amazing! You have just been scrambling, but you got it all done!

Just stopped and really looked at the pics again.....love the pillows on the chair and you have it angled just right. I love how the silver in the vase matches the silver handles on the console. The flowers are just the right color and height. The plant is one of my favorites and you even have it in a pot already. AND you did this whole part of the room all by yourself! All by yourself!

Yeah hahaahhaa I am so happy.... Enough Enough. .. unless there is another suggestion. ... happy... when I bought the plant I remembered groveaxle :) he put in his draw one like this.... enjoying this view

aajjaja back at you.....I just noticed in the last pic you posted.....your feet crossed, which means you are sitting in the recliner with it reclined. Just what you should be doing....and smiling a lot!

Grover (the one in the doggles) is a he, but groveraxle is a she. And Carolina, you've done a wonderful job. Love the new chair, the furniture arrangement works, the room is warm and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more. Here's a high five!
