Medallion placement help

I am hanging four painted medallions I bought and painted in various sizes but.... I'm struggling w the arrangement/placement. I cut out paper to tape on wall and mess around w arrangements before I start nailing :) I'm not sure this arrangement works but I don't totally hate it. It's my favorite so far after playing with moving them around. But still not convinced and want some feedback from an unbiased eye. Thanks!!

The center npoint of your grouping should be 5' above the floor unless you put them above a piece of furniture, in which case the lowest one should have its bottom 5" above the piece. If over furniture, the entire grouping's footprint should stay within the middle 75% of the piece's width.

Could you try the putting the 2 pcs from beside your drapes in an arrangement along with the medallions? they look a bit cramped where they are.

Maybe put one on top of the other, with the meds on the right hand side in an arrangement
keeping things clustered, not too far apart.

The frames are staying put - I had a designer create this space and they really look stunning where they are at. In wondering if I should have bought more in some smaller sizes

They look like ceiling medallions, meant to have a fixture hanging from the center....

Oops I do have 5. I'm doing this wall on my own and have always loved the look of using ceiling medallions as wall art. Oh well guess I'll go with this

@sstarr they actually are ceilings medallions but have you seen the trend about ppl painting them and using as wall decor? :)

I rather like the idea, but I think they need to be equal distances apart and maybe do not use the smallest one in the center. Soooo smart to try the paper first.

Here's just a couple ideas to get you started. Smart move to try paper templates! I just bring the hammer and nails out first :)

Artistic touches are very personal. People have used a variety of objects for art (hubcaps, lights, gears, etc.). If she enjoys it, then it's all good. :)

Thank you guys! I was wondering why post too if you are just going to basically tell me my idea is weird. In fact I wish I was my idea but it's all over Pinterest In a variety of ways! I was asking for placement ideas not if it was liked or not. I love that art can be anything you want it to be and there is no right or wrong with artistic

I am thinking two more small ones, but something else to think about, which you probably have......how much wall space NEEDS to be covered here? Are you filling just the area that is at the end of the table? A little more than that? Or close to the whole wall?

Of it. I don't have to cover it all - just trying to make it look right :)

Build as you go. Start with what you have and keep an eye out for interesting pieces to add to the collection. When it is built over time, that's when you'll really make it yours.
