I have a large open living/family room that needs updating! I have kids and we enjoy watching television on the weekends and spending time together. We just purchased a sectional sofa from Macy's in a chrome color (don't worry, I got the protection plan...since I have kids ;) - See Photo below. My question is, do I start all over and paint the walls, get a new area rug, and repaint or redo the fireplace? What colors will accent my new sectional sofa and make my room look clean, fresh and put together. I need to purchase curtains and hardware. The sectional sofa will face the wall mounted television and fireplace.
