Window trim for oddly framed window

hi everyone.. .we probably should have caught this during the framing stage, but even so, I am not sure if we could have done anything. we have a window in our basement suite that allows for trim on one side (left) of the window but not the right side. the right side has a bit of a jog in the wall. should we leave the trim as is (looks incomplete ?) or should we bring the side casing to the front of the jogged wall (with the window sill and apron both being brought out accordingly) to give the look of it being even on both sides? (see dottted lines in 2nd pic). not sure if that may look odd. there would be no casing in the jamb reveal on the side of the jogged wall. what do you think? thank you!
