1966 mushroom light fixture

I have a mushroom shaped light fixture from Light Craft of California that was made in 1966. I am trying to figure out if this would be what is called a Laurel mushroom light fixture even though I do not find the name Laurel on it anywhere.

is that whole on the base where the switch goes or is there a hole on either side?

i think they had the switch up by the glass, so it maybe a replica.

This is actually a ceiling mount light

The holes are for attaching to the ceiling. Don't think it is a replica because of the information on the inside of the base.

My mother bought this light when she was first married and now it resides in my house. It is not a reproduction. If you're looking to sell, please let me know, I would love another base as I already have a spare shade for it.

I noticed your's has a bronze base and mine has a white base. Do you think mine has been painted?

The shade itself will sell for around $100. There's more demand for the shade because they can be used to replace the shades on Laurel & stemlite mushroom lamps. I'm only interested in the base. Please let me know what you decide.

I have this fantastic pendant lamp, it made in fiberglass and aluminium, the color is blue light and it was purchased in 1973. Today, the lamp is in a bedroom.

I have a light just like yours but it has been in the attic for a while and I can't figure how to change the light bulb. I can get the three prong ring off the light base but can't get any farther. Can you tell me how yours comes apart? Ray

A. Not 1, because I can't remember how I did it the last time.
