Usually a refrigerator is 36" wide and a stove is only 30" wide, so without replacing your cabinets, it may not work to switch them with each other. Also, you would have to move the wall cabinets above both appliances. Have you measured to see if the refrigerator can fit on the stove wall? If your stove hood vents outside you will not be able to move the stove and hood unless you can revert the hood. If it just recirculates the air that is not an issue. I agree you should remove the island. The samples you show above are going to give you a very dark kitchen. I would go for a lighter backsplash, something not as busy. Also keep in mind your appliances are white. If you are keeping white appliances it would be good to have some white somewhere else in your color plan. Perhaps a countertop that has white and other colors, then pull one of the other colors from the counter and use it for the cabinets. The brown floor should work with almost anything.
