This fireplace was originally designed to hold the tv in the left cabinet. At some point the previous owner installed rather cheap looking doors. We have a large armoire to the left of the fireplace that holds our tv. A carpenter suggested that he could put doors that would match the armoire style and color cherry. We are also considering having the niches above sheet rocked over to have a place to display a good sized piece of art along with some vases. Also considering painting to painting and glazing the "stone" a lighter, more neutral color.
Any others ideas/suggestions would be appreciated .
