That's a good idea. I'm wondering if the wall I choose should be the one with the window or the one with the window seat? Also, I want to use a light blue color but now I'm wondering if I should do a darker one?

I cannot really see the whole window wall. Maybe you could snap a pic of it. If it is an inside wall, it would be easy to paint as an accent color. Light blue is sort of a babyish color, so maybe a darker blue would be best. I am not the best when it comes to colors but hopefully more people will comment as well.

What are the colors in your dining room set? That would help to see a pic of that as well.

Here's a somewhat better photo. I've also attached a photo of the dining room set that we are currently in the process of buying. Also, these are the pillows I currently have on the window seat but I can always replace the fabric for a different color.

That would be the perfect wall for an accent color. Or even wallpaper, whichever. The dining set is pretty. Does this room blend into the living room or is it a formal dining room? At any rate the entry and the other walls can be the same color. Now just to choose an accent wall color and the other color, too.

The lovely soft green in the pillow would make a nice accent colour with the other walls in the pale blue also in the cushion. Spray River by Sherwin Williams or CIL (not sure which) is a pale neutral gray-blue - almost white but not.

It's a tough decision! Lol. I feel like the window seat wall would be a good choice for the accent color since it is kind of the main wall in the dining room and you see it as soon as you walk into the house almost. I just can't decide if I want a darker color than the color now or a lighter color. If y'all have any other color suggestions feel free to add them!

I'm really in to sherwin williams comfort gray, sea salt, and functional gray right now so if any of y'all think one of those colors would work, let me know :)

You have a no brainer here. Paint the bottom half of the wall white to match your wood work. The tiny painted trim in the panel just looks half done. Then if you are into it, panels on each side of each the window and a window seat in a beautiful fabric you love. My picks below have both white, grey and the brown shade of the rest of your home.

You have lovely large arches and curves in the rooms adjacent, why not go for a bit larger scale print than the paisley for more punch. I agree its time to grey it up. Get some samples and try them on the upper half. The white on the bottom will be a great way to keep it integrated with the other woodwork and doors in the home.
