Bluestone bedding

Love the patio. I live near here and looking to do a similar patio with a dry lay. What type of sub base, stone bedding and joint filer did you use? And how large are your joints? Want to avoid heaving as best as I can.

    Hello DJ, thanks of your questions. This is a dry laid or soft base installation. We used 4 inches of gravel, then item 4 as a base course and stone dust between the joints. The joints are very tight, less than 1/8 of an inch. Make sure you have dug down and tamped a nice level base first and install all your drainage prior to building the patio.
