Need advise on what to do

We've installed a very short curbe in a bathroom. When the schluter edges went in, it looked great, however now i'm concerned that this edge is so close to the ground that you could stub and really hurt your toe. Everything is already set, and ideas that don't include removing and replacing with rondec?
