The glass door width is 2'-4" (and not 2'-7" as I wrote in previous answer)

Does the glass panel keep you warm while showering? The contractor is beginning are new bathroom reno next week and we have heard from someone else that they find they are cold when showering and wish they had installed a door for full enclosure. Look forward to anyone's comments. Thank you.

I DID THE 1/2 PANEL & LOVE IT EXCEPT WATER SPRAY FROM SHOWER HEAD GETS ON THE FLOOR /PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED A SHOWER HEAD THAT COMES STRAIGHT DOWN WITH NO EXTENDED ARM OTHERWISE I AM GLAD I DID THIS /

@blogger - An open shower will for sure let the steam go out and be colder than a fully enclosed shower.

I love the open shower, however, it looks like it would be very cold in the winter with all the heat loss. This is a stumbling block for me. Any ideas on how to contain the heat? Thanks!

My shower isin a 60 sq ft bathroom so it's warm enough but you could easily

put in a heat lamp in bathroom if your worried about not warm enough

You could also put in floor heating but it's $$$ we did in our master bathroom

but it's a big bathroom so worth it
