We are looking to replace this dark flooring in our kitchen. We recently repainted from a terra-cotta orange, to a light yellow. Our objective is to brighten up the space. Changing the dark cupboards is not an option as it is cost prohibitive - however, the appliances can be changed as well...thinking stainless steel? I really am in need of help with flooring choice - we were originally thinking a light colored bamboo, but we are not 100% sure. I can supply other pictures if needed...
