Need landscape ideas next to the house!

Need suggestions on landscaping next to the house. The darkest is the morning shot. It's full sun late afternoon on the front. We are already adding a lot of plants around the tree. So it's just around the front of the house that I'm stumped on what to do. Especially on the left side with that large amount of brick exposed. Thanks for the input!

Only afternoon sun is an extreme challenge in any area...a decorative structural solution may be something to consider..we have been struggling for 10years with an area with these conditions ...at the very least a number one local expert is needed...

I don't think it needs that much as I prefer a simpler yard, but you could put in a narrow flower garden across the front of the house.
