put the couch facing the tv. thin coffee table and 2 arm chairs should do it. also need to get some more art. to liven up the walls. i see you like orange so keep dots of that going for decor.

I'd put the TV on a lower media console. Would like to see more photos so we can see the entire room. You can add more photos by doing a comment under here.

I would move the couch to be opposite the TV. Move console table to under the window where couch was (too high for tv also). I would remove the mirror and think about an ottoman as a coffee table. Perhaps a low table (an antique trunk) for the tv and lots of art on the wall.

If at all possible, relocate the sofa so that it is not blocking the light.

Next think about a glass topped coffee table which allows you to see as much of the rug as possible.
In your own time consider some pretty full length curtains hung with the rod as close to the ceiling and extending at least two and a half feet on each side so that the window is not covered when they are pulled back. When the budget permits, and if you want to, think about painting the walls a lighter, brighter color.

Can't see the rest of the room but if that is the only place for the TV, I would put it on a low TV console and move the sofa so it is facing the TV. You might have to place the sofa under the window to have enough space for a cocktail table. I don't know dimensions, but if the space is small, a glass top, rectangle shaped table with a colorful rug beneath it would keep the room open visually and add extra color. The orange is a great color and seeing it in artwork on the walls would be great! I don't think you will have room to place the sofa table behind the sofa so perhaps try it on the wall where the sofa is currently sitting and move the round end table to the other side of the sofa.
