The attached photos are my current kitchen. We are planning to replace the cabinets. Trying to decide between painted cabinets in a medium tone grey-ish green or wood cabinets. Our home also has medium tone oak wood trim and not a lot of natural light in this area. I am leaning toward painted cabinets, but I'm concerned they are too trendy. Opinions on whether to go painted or wood are appreciated. If wood, suggestions for a wood color that doesn't clash with the floors (if that is possible) would also be good. None of the appliances are being replaced at this time except the microwave over the stove. Wall colors will change eventually and lighting in the ceiling will also be changed when we do the cabinets. Thank you!
