BM Linen for walls

With your flooring and fire place I would opt for a dark charcoal grey sofa. This way the different shades of grey go together harmoniously! Don't worry, you can have pops of color coming from art,pillows,rugs, and lots of accessories! For the wall pick a color that feels warm! High ceilings tend to feel cold so a neutral soft shade will balance that out and make the home feel warm and inviting!!!

Would you recommend a light silvery grey or a darker grey for the walls? Im not a big fan of the linen beige/yellow colours. Any recommendation or samples colours would be appreciated. Thanks

Try BM Revere Pewter. It should blend with the FP & flooring. Often has a greenish cast in certain light, yet it's a warm gray.

I think the paint laurakdesigns suggested is great! It's neutral and very inviting!
